  • Do you have a specific reception area for customers?

    At KSR we have a modern furnished reception area. Our heated/air conditioned reception area comfortably seats you should you arrive early. At your pleasure you can use our water cooler, free telephone and reading material or you may wish to watch the TV.

  • Which methods of payment can I choose from when paying for my insurance excess or a private repair?

    We accept all major credit cards except for American Express and Diners Club. We also have EFTPOS facilities. We accept cash or company cheques, but unfortunately not personal cheques.

  • Is my car going to be detailed FOC when my car gets repaired?

    We do not get paid to detail your car by your insurance company, however we do provide our customers with a courtesy clean. If you wish to take advantage of our detailing service, our packages start from as little as $20 for a mini detail and go right up to the top level of detailing.

  • Who do I pay my insurance excess to?

    Your Excess payment is collected by your repairer, on behalf of your insurance company. This excess will need to be paid when collecting your car on completion of repairs. KSR will take your excess payment off the bill to the insurance company for your repair

  • Are you an approved Repairer for any Insurance Companies? If so which?

    Yes! We are a guaranteed and preferred repairer for NRMA, GIO, SUNCORP, VERO, INSURERS HOTLINE Insurance’s and we are a approved repairer for all other insurance companies.

  • Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?

    Yes, KSR provides a written lifetime warranty on all workmanship when your repairs have been completed.

  • How will I know when my car is ready?

    The office of KSR will contact you on the day your car is going to be ready by 1:00 pm. KSR can keep you informed throughout the repair process, by your choice of telephone, SMS or email. Please advise the office of your preferred method of contact when you complete the initial customer contact sheet or phone the office on 1300 663 763 to advise how often & when you require updates. Please use the Client Services Area on our website soon so that you can track the progress of your car as it happens. Feel free to call or email our office at a time during the repair process if you have any questions or concerns.

  • How can I get a rental car?

    We can organise this for you. All you need to do is let our booking staff know and we will have a car ready for you when you drop your car off. Our rental car from $36.00 per day! If you require a certain type of rental car (e.g. Delivery Van or a Utility) we can organise this for you also, through Hertz Australia anywhere in Australia at our special corporate fleet rates.

  • If my vehicle's chassis is damaged, is my vehicle a total loss?

    No. A car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds approx 75% of the insurance company's determined value of your vehicle. Our highly skilled technicians, with the aid of our state of the art Chief Genesis computer measuring system, can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications.

  • Do I need to contact several shops for estimates?

    No. It is your right to choose your own repairer. We would recommend using a reputable long-standing repairer that is a guaranteed and preferred repairer for major Insurance companies.

  • Do I have the right to choose the repairer?

    Under new State Government legislation it is illegal for your insurance company to dictate where you get your car fixed. You have the right to choose your repairer

  • If I claim on my insurance will I have to pay an excess even though I am not at fault?

    If you have all of the details of the third party involved, there is no reason why an excess should apply. You are much better off putting the claim through your own insurance company to avoid all of the delays associated with a third party insurance claim.

  • Are you open on Saturday’s?

    Yes! We are open on Saturday’s between 8am and 12pm. Quotation Bookings are advisable for Saturdays by phoning the office of KSR on 1300 663 763.

  • Can I get a quote for the repairs to my car over the phone?

    Unfortunately no. There are too many variables when it comes to fixing cars and we really must see the vehicle and the full extent of the damage before we can commit ourselves to a price and a time frame. Please phone our office on 1300 663 763 to make an appointment for a quotation! Or use our online quoting software for your convenience.

  • I've been involved in an accident, what should I do?

    Call our 24 hour toll free accident assistance hotline 1300 663 763 for state wide assistance.
    If your car is drivable, just phone us on 1300 663 763 to book a quote date & time or just bring it to our shop for an on the spot estimate. We can assist you with lodging your claim and getting the repair process under way.
